Jakarta – BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the Deputy for Science and Technology Human Resources and the Indonesian Rectors Forum (FRI) agreed to collaborate to improve the quality of education, research, development, studies and community service. This was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties regarding Education, Research, Development, Studies and Community Service, at the Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA), Tuesday (11/01/2022).
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by BRIN’s Acting Deputy for Science and Technology Human Resources, Edy Giri Rachman Putra and Chairman of the Indonesian Rectors Forum (FRI) for the period 2021-2022, Panut Mulyono. The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes research, development and studies of science and technology, education and training, improvement of human resource quality, scientific meetings, seminars and publications, research support programs for final year students and community service. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding was also witnessed by representatives of the East Java Regional Legal and Cooperation Bureau and members of the FRI.
In addition to collaborating with FRI, at the National Seminar organized by UNISMA on Tuesday 11 January 2022, BRIN also collaborated with UNISMA as realized by the signing of Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of education, research, development, studies, and community service. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by BRIN Acting Deputy for Science and Technology Human Resources, Edy Giri Rachman Putra and Rector of UNISMA, Maskuri.
The Memorandum of Understanding covers several things, among other things education which includes improvement and development of HR competencies including the implementation of the Independent Campus Independent Learning Program (PMBKM), research, development, studies, and application, as well as invention and innovations, community service including use of research results and innovation, as well as joint use of facilities and infrastructure owned by both parties. This Memorandum of Understanding is a form of collaboration between BRIN and UNISMA to contribute to the advancement of science and technology and national development.
