After four days of the effective state visit of the Royal Majesties King Karl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia from the Kingdom of Sweden in Indonesia, HE Minister Mohamad Nasir is conveying a formal farewell on behalf of the Government of Indonesia to RM King Karl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia at Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, Banten (25/4).
In the fields of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (HESTI), both Indonesia and Sweden will continue the cooperation amongst other in the development of innovation system, science technology parks, techno-entrepreneurship, spare parts development for aircrafts, waste management for energy.
In addition, both Countries also successfully jointly conducted a joint Seminar on Triple Helix ITB 24/5/2017, in which the Ristekdikti Ministry was represented by Prof Intan Ahmad, Director General of Academic and Learning. Moreover, an MoA on the development of STP and technopreneurship program was signed by Dr Lukito (Ristekdikti) and Lund University.
In October 2017, an upgrading HESTI MoU including the initiative to establish joint working group/steering committee, will also be signed during the HE Swedish Minister future visit to Indonesia, in order to strengthe the bilateral collaboration.
Congratulation and appreciate to all contributions from various Ministries (Indonesian Embassy at Stockholm, Swedish Embassy in Jakarta, Kemlu, Kemenristekdikti, the Bandung Regional Government, LPNKs, BPPT, LIPI, LAPAN, Indonesian Swedish Universities especially ITB and Lund University, UGM as well as private companies).
